Clara Downton

Clara is a Mortgage and Protection Insurance Adviser. She is qualified in both CeMAP (Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage and Advice Practice) and CeRER (Certificate in Regulated Equity Release) and worked in the City of London for many years before starting work as a mortgage adviser. After working for a local firm, Clara decided to take the next big step in the mortgage business and Downton Mortgage and Financial Services was born. Before moving into mortgage qualifications, she got a Business Studies degree, specialising in finance and worked in investment banks and consultancy firms in London. Having learned a wide spectrum of knowledge working with clients in the City, the local move to be a mortgage adviser was a natural next step for her. In her spare time Clara loves travelling, dancing, baking and reading books, when not spending time with family and friends.

Shannon Savedge
Shannon is a Protection Insurance Adviser. She has over a decade of experience in the Insurance industry and is CertPRO (LIBF Certificate in Protection) qualified. Before joining Downton Mortgages and Financial Services, she spent most of her career as an Account Manager, providing clients with a personalised approach to their protection needs. Shannon has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from the University of Central Florida and soon after graduating, she decided to leave her hometown of Orlando to go travelling. On her travels she found her way to New Zealand and Australia before settling in the UK in 2011. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys pilates, travelling, films, food, reading and walks with her husband and her crazy cockapoo Ralph.
